Optometrist

Ms. Sheena is an Optometrist, with 9 years’ experience, practicing across distinguished eye centers in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.

Ms. Sheena examines, diagnoses, treats eye diseases and vision disorders. She tests vision and prescribes spectacles, including single vision, bifocals and varifocals, contact lenses or eye exercises if needed.

She works with low vision, diabetic and glaucoma patients, in addition to practicing general Optometry. Her other interests include working closely with the Ophthalmologist in assisting with pre and post- refractive surgery consultations. Her eye exams go beyond just checking for clear vision – she checks all aspects of the visual system to ensure her patients have the necessary visual ability to succeed at work and in the classroom. In addition to clinical practice, Ms. Sheena has a huge interest in teaching, has conducted workshops on refraction and has presented papers in international conferences.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science, in Optometry from the City University London, UK and is a member of The College of Optometrists, UK.
