He is also well-respected for his deep knowledge and experience and has acted as the Chairman of the 1st and 2nd Middle East Thyroid Cancer Conference at Dubai, UAE. He is on the Executive committee of the Asia-Pacific Society of Thyroid Surgery (APTS) and is also the National Coordinator for UAE of the World Head and Neck Cancer Day (WHNCD).
