How do you know if you have colon cancer?
You don’t.
Unless you’ve had a colonoscopy.
COLON CANCER is silent and often has no symptoms.
Cancer is globally the second most common diagnosed cancer in female and the third in males, being the second most common cause of cancer death in both men and woman. Most Colon Cancer arise from benign pre-cancerous adenomatous colon polyps that usually does not cause symptoms, but can progress to colon cancer over an average time of 8 to 10 years. Colon screening can lead to early identification of colon polyps that can be in most cases easily removed during colonoscopy, leading to prevention of the development of colon cancer and decreased mortality
